Conscious Femininity by Marion Woodman is a collection of interview and essays written by her and others regarding her work as a Jungian analyst particularly dealing with the subject of femininity in both women and men. In my next novel, my main character, Blair, will be working more with feminine archetypes in the tarot deck, whereas in the last book, Island of Dreams, she focused on the Devil archetype. As a Jungian analyst, Woodman's interest in archetypes drew me in to begin with, but the further I got into her work, the more I was reading it for enjoyment as well as research.
